We're a small team making an AP prep app we'd actually want to use. That means we made some choices early on about how we treat the people who trust us with their study time. Here's what we promise you — every student, every parent, every teacher.
Not to advertisers. Not to data brokers. Not to anyone. Your quiz scores, your streaks, your study habits — none of it is for sale. Ever.
FiveFire is ad-free. You won’t see a banner ad, a sponsored quiz, a “suggested for you” product, or anything else trying to sell you something. You came here to study. That’s the whole deal.
Some apps track everything you do to build a profile that advertisers pay for. We don't do that. The only reason we look at your study patterns is to help you study better — recommending topics you're weak on, showing you your progress, predicting your score.
No fake countdowns. No guilt-trip notifications. No “you’re about to lose your streak FOREVER” panic messages. Streaks and XP exist to motivate you, not to trap you. If you need a break, take one.
We ask for your email, your grade level, and which AP subjects you're taking. That's pretty much it. We don't want your phone number, your address, your contacts, or your location. Less data = less risk for you.
Leaderboards are opt-in and show display names only — never your email, never your real name unless you choose. Your study progress is yours.
FiveFire is built for high school students. If we learn that someone under 13 has created an account, we delete it and any data with it.
A lot of apps treat students like products. Scrape the data, sell the attention, squeeze out every dollar. We think that's gross — especially when the users are minors trying to get into college.
We'd rather charge a fair price for a product that actually helps you get a 5, and leave it at that. Pro is $9.99/month or $59.99/year. That's how we pay the bills. No ads, no tricks, no BS.
